High precision tolerances: Our honed tube can meet ID tolerance H7, H8, H9, … etc according to the customer’ requirements, and its I.D dimension. Seamless tube with high pressure resistance: We only use seamless cold drawn tubes to produce honed pipes, which means our honed tubing can work under higher pressure, thus our honed pipes are more reliable for hydraulic cylinder applications. High Smooth inside surface:The roughness of our honed pipe is Max Ra 0.4 microns ID finish (16Max Ra ID Finish). Flexible order quantity: we accept small quantity orders, even if there is only one piece of hydraulic cylinder tubing we can produce and supply. Good weldability: The weldability of our honed steel tubing is very good, this is quite helpful for manufacturing the cylinders.

What is a honed tube?
Honed tube is usually a CDS (Cold drawn seamless) steel tube or DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel tube with inside diameter honed or skived &roller burnished, so honed tubing is with extremely precise ID dimensions and smoothly ID surface.

Honed tubes are broadly utilized to produce and repair hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic cylinders. So in many fields, the honed tube is called cylinder tube also.

Honed tube usually is produced by two main manufacturing process, which are honing process or skiving & roller burnishing process. The mother tube we usually use "Suitable To Hone” Cold Drawn Seamless Tubes. The process of the honed pipe is determined upon the dimension, mold available and the requirement of the customer.

Material: Common materials include carbon steel grades such as ST52, CK45, AISI 1020, and alloy steels like AISI 4140 and 42CrMo.
Size Range: Honed tubes are available in a wide range of sizes, with inner diameters ranging from 20mm to 1500mm and lengths up to 16 meters.
Tolerance Standards: International tolerance standards such as DIN2391, EN10305, and ASTM A519 are followed to ensure global quality benchmarks.
Surface Roughness: Honed tubes feature a surface roughness between 0.2-0.4 um, suitable for applications requiring smooth surfaces.
Internal Tolerance Grades: Internal tolerance grades of H7, H8, and H9 are achievable, meeting the precise fitting requirements of various machinery and equipment.
